Trip to Duxford 17-10-2008.

In October 2008 two of Wings and Wheels founder members enjoyed a flying trip to Duxford airfield, Duxford is part of the Imperial War Museum and is widely acknowledged as the home of piston engined warbirds in the U.K. We set off from Kemble airfield at 10:20 and arrived at Duxford at 11.26 in a PA-28 Warrior 161 G-PRST. The route chosen took us past Moreton in Marsh, Silverstone race track, and Shuttleworth/Old Warden. Duxford has many interesting exhibits and is well worth a visit.
