Hi Folks, Enjoy a few pictures from K and C tours blast it in day trip to the stunning Cumbria Coast with plenty of mega thrash over Shap - from Carnforth with the powerful LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman, as you can see from my phone app!! 29mph over the top of shap at 916ft with 12 full coaches was very respectful, for a steam loco - hard graft for the crew. Once we got to Carlisle we all refuelled... then back on to our tour for a run around the Cumbria coast looking at the SW Scots mountains, Isle of Man, St Bees, Sellafield etc, and not forgetting the snow capped mountains of the lakes Scafell, Great Gable and Skiddaw to name a few. We departed Cheltenham at 7.10 picked up the special tour from Euston at Crewe and bunked off at Preston on the way home resorting to plan B after getting held at Barrow but were still home before midnight, not bad for a day trip.
