The last of 2 weekends with the hired in Llangollen Railway 4MT loco 80072 numbered as 80043 (80041 the weekend before) commemorating the last passenger trains on the line in 1966. Rich, Debs, and Nick attended and met Fred as well. A cracking Sunday afternoon visit and a small S and D ride for just over 0.5 mile on the line, by 2017 the trust hopes to have laid another 0.5 mile of track (towards Chilcompton) that will give them more passenger heritage line status for assistance/potential grants.
