For us Southern Region Steam and Bullied Fans this was the must go to Gala of 2017! The Swanage Railway trains were mainly full...in fact some very crammed. The Swanage people did us proud with the following Bullied locos from all over the UK, they were Manston/City of Wells/Braunton as Lord Dowding/92 Squadron/Sir Keith Park and the local 4MT 80104 as 80146. Plus Bullied pacific named Swanage was on show in bits! Nick Bill and I had a blast and then after a cracking finale with double headed pacifics at the end of day, we made the long drive home only by coincidence tracing a good part of the ex Somerset Dorset Line!
