This day celebrated the return to steam of 1928 built Fry's at Somerdale, Keynsham. The ex-chocolate factory's Sentinel loco (of 18 te) probably one of the smallest standard gauge steamers in the UK? a great morning ensued for us, including high tea and free chocolate and a cracking guards van ride behind the little beast.. Apparently they will be testing its pulling power very soon.. Likely to be a MK1 coach or 2? also had a look at what became of the Factory at Somerdale, take a look, its impressive. Debs, Chaz, Paul, and Chris had a great visit. A great job done by AVR and Co restoring a little gem of a loco. PLease be sure to scroll to the bottom of this page to see a short video of this event.
